Research
I have researched and studied
and practiced the work of many spiritual teachers, spiritual guides, many Medical Doctors, many Psychiatrists, a woman with
a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, many spiritual healers, and a medical intuitive. I
read many different books of well-known spiritual teachers. Each teacher and book was perfect at the time as a stepping stone.
You know many of these authors. Eckhart Tolle, Ken Wilber, Gangaji, Wayne
Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Caroline Myss, Judith Orloff, Barbara Brennan, Rosalyn Bruyere,
Donna Eden, Dr. Eric Pearl, A Course in Miracles, Lex Hixon, Krishnamurti, Neale Donald Walsch, Meister Eckhart, Mona Lisa
Schultz, Carol Pearson, Gary Zukav, The Toa of Pooh, Ask and It is Given, Creative Dreaming, Matrix Energetics. The poetry
of Rumi and Hafiz, Sufism, Andrew Harvey, John Bradshaw and others. And studied
Reiki, Theta healing, EFT, Quantum Touch, TT, The Reconnection and many other spiritual healing methods.
None came close to giving
me the clarity of the 20 levels of consciousness and how to transcend them as Dr. David R. Hawkins and his books.
Self Realization and Enlightenment
I would without question, recommend Dr. David R. Hawkins book “Transcending the Levels of
Consciousness”. It is simply the best practical spiritual guidance
you can get. It it not as insprational as his other
books, but is brilliant. He is a medical doctor, pyshiatrist and a msytic. He descirbes each of the 20 levels of consciousness.
Ken Wilber has said for him 12 levels are the most useful. I disagree. Hawkins 20 levels provides much more clarity and usefulness. Each level is descirbed so you can know by reading it if you have experined it or not. And for each level he describes the handful or so of things you need to do or truths you need to adopt
or spiritual practices you need to do in order to transend that level of consciousness.
So his book is literally a stariway to Heaven and a clear pathway home. And
he lists the tempations for each level so you know what to be aware of so you won’t take that tempation and fall to
a lower level of consciousness. For the first 8 levels of consciousss, he lists
the dualites for each level, the archetypal paradoxes that we have to transend in order to complete our journey. Each person usually spends most of their time in 4-5 of these levels of consciousness and the combination
of these levels equals one’s current level of conscioueness. So I
can focus on the handful of things I need to do to transend my overall level of consciouness.
Not in contrast to the over 100 things you need to do per Wanye Dyer in his “Power of Intention” book. And if you for example are in anger, you can go to that level and review the
handful of things you need to do to transend and process out your anger. The
same if you are sad, or afraid or depressed, etc. This makes things clear and
simple and focused.
David Hawkins has said “To cut through the complexity, apply a few simple tools consistently no matter what without
exception. It is not the consequence
of knowing about the truth but the willingness to become the truth.”
Hawkins has said “The downfall of all
lofty spiritual teachings (is) … each level of consciousness predefines its own limited capacity for perception and
comprehension. Until one has become enlightened oneself, or at least experienced
the higher states of consciousness, all spiritual teachings remain hearsay and thus prone to distortion and misunderstanding,
scripture can be quoted to justify any position.”
David Hawkins knows truth by direct mystical experience.
He has said “The only source for Absolute Truth is subjective verification.” Hawkins has also verified his truth in many spiritual scriptures and traditions,
and by consciousness research.
I have had direct mystical experience is all 20 of the levels of consciousness he describes and
has experienced directly himself. That is how I know and recognize his
truth. This is how I come to be able to recommend his books to you.
If you decide to read more than this book of Hawkins, I would suggest “Discovery of the
Presence of God: Devotional Non Duality” is brilliant and inspirational.
I myself do not try and teach anymore. I am like
a finger pointing at the moon but not the moon itself. At least not at the moment. Belly laughing.
Healing and Recovery
Spontaneous miraculous healing is a well-documented fact.
Dr. David R. Hawkins had 20 chronic illnesses for over 20 years and no traditional medical treatment
or medication worked despite all the Doctors and specialist he saw around the world.
He developed a spiritual healing process that cured all 20 of these chronic illnesses in a matter of days or hours
or months, two illnesses took a year or so to cure. All the people at his center
of spiritual research have healed from most illness known to mankind including all forms of cancer, multiple sclerosis, myethenis
gravis, complete and total recovery. There is no more powerful statement than
that direct experience.
The Source of our healing is the essence of who we are infinite peace, silence and unconditional
love.
